The candidate will direct Curiox’s development of DropArray™
platform for biological assays and application support for customers
worldwide.
The candidate may have to stay in Singapore for first 4 – 8 months
followed by permanent placement in the San Francisco Bay area in USA.
Job scope:
- Direct the development of DropArray™ platform for a range of
biological assays such as ELISA and cell-based assays in
multidisciplinary environment.
- Interact with key customers worldwide and lead application
supports, including the development of new biological applications for
DropArray™ platform.
- May require extensive travel of up to 50 % as the operation
expands.
Requirement:
- A Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences or relevant field,
with at least 3 years of relevant industrial experience or Bachelor’s
degree in the corresponding field with at least 10 years of relevant
industrial experience.
- Industrial experience of developing
protein and/or cell-based assays for microfluidic platforms such as
lab-on-a-chip highly desirable.
- Hands-on research
experience in Immunoassays and/or adherent and non-adherent cell assays
and good understanding of lab instrumentation.
- Understanding of enzyme kinetics and factors affecting
assay performance.
- Independent
problem-solving skills on technical and scientific matters with
substantial experience and strength in quantitative data analysis for
cell assays and/or ELISA.
- Good communication and
interpersonal skills and leadership with experience and willingness to
work in multicultural environments.
- Good team player with strong self-motivation and dedication.
The candidate will set up the Quality Management System for the
company according to ISO13485/ISO9001 quality system. Have strong
interest to work in an innovative environment and ability to handle
uncertainty within the defined quality system. Good communication skill
and the ability to handle outsource partners. The candidate will be
stationed in Singapore.
Job scope:
- Set up the Quality Management System in accordance to
ISO13485/ISO9001 quality management system. Making plan to get the
organization certify for ISO13485/ISO9001.
- Interact with various departments and support them in procedures,
forms and documentation preparation for the require QMS. Maintain QMS
in a practical and simple way.
- Conduct internal audit and drive the closure of all non
compliance points in a timely manner.
Requirement:
- A degree in Science/Engineering with at least 5 years experience
in QMS environment.
- Ability to work in an innovative environment and able to
handle uncertainty.
- Good statistic knowledge and production control concept
- Hands-on with quality policy, procedure and form drafting.
Experience working in ISO13485 qualified environment
is advantage.
- Independent problem-solving skills on quality matters.
Substantial experience and strength in quality assurance concept
and implementation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and leadership with
experience and willingness to work in multicultural environments.
- Good team player with strong self-motivation and dedication.
The candidate will work on the instrument design from the
architecture level to the final instrument detail design. Have strong
interest to work in an innovative environment and ability to handle
uncertainty. Good communication skill and the ability to handle
outsource partners. The candidate will be stationed in Singapore and
expected to travel occasionally.
Job scope:
- Design the instrument architecture and product level that fulfil
the requirements from our group of scientists. Take care of mechanical
as well as the electronics design. Ensure the instrument design is able
to fulfil CE Mark and UL listing
- Interact with various Scientists and outsource partners
continuously to improve the performance of the instrument for the
targeted market. Troubleshooting the field feedback on the instrument.
- Maintain good document records for traceability and ISO
system requirements.
Requirement:
- A degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5
years experience in instrument design.
- Ability to work in an innovative environment and able to
handle uncertainty.
- Good knowledge in Fluid Dynamics and Thermal management
is advantage.
- Hands-on with product design. At least 5 years experience in
using 3D design software, Solid work is preferred.
- Independent problem-solving skills on technical and engineering
matters with substantial experience and strength in quality assurance
concept and implementation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and leadership with
experience and willingness to work in multicultural environments.
