The DropArray™ plate wells are arranged in a similar format as the 384-well microtiter plate (with 4.5 mm well-to-well spacing). The surface of the plates are patterned with hydrophobic perfluorocarbon film, exposing an array of pre-treated glass surfaces. These glass surfaces have a proprietary 3D protein-binding and act similarly to microtiter
plate wells.
The unique coating of DropArray™ plate wells enable high-capacity immobilization of proteins, even when using miniaturized sample volumes of 2 - 3µL.
The proprietary biocompatible Rinsing Oil used with DropArray™ plates prevents evaporation and cross-contamination of samples on the plate. Additional accessories offer users with convenience and ease of use as the conventional microtiter plate.
DropArray™ plates can be easily read by conventional microtiter plate readers that can read fluorescence signals for 384-well microtiter plates.
Cell plate S48, S96 and S384 have 48, 96 and 384 wells respectively. The wells
are arranged in a similar format as the 384-well microtiter plate, with 4.5mm well-
to-well spacing.
Sterile Unit-packing.
Each plate is sterile and individually packed.
Cell-friendly Surfaces.
The DropArray™ Cell plates have similar features as the DropArray™ ELISA plates, with the addition of a proprietary cell-friendly surface coating. This coating enables cell growth and gentle washing of cells.
DropArray™ Cell plates to be used for cell based assays using generic cell lines, including less adherent cells such as the HEK293T cell line. A customized coating for a specific cell line is available upon request.
