A microtiter plate adapter allows the use of DropArray™ S48, S96 and S384 plate in the same manner as a conventional microtiter plate. DropArray™ plate is placed in a pocket of the adapter, where each "well" is located at exactly same position as that of 384-well microtiter plate. With such a feature, DropArray™plate can be read by a conventional plate reader, which can read fluorescence from a 384-well microtiter plate. For cell-based assay applications, the glass surface of the plates is positioned on a same plane as the bottom of the adapter to ensure that the objective lens of a microscope can image cells on the surface.

A dispensing guide can be placed on the top of the S48, S96 and S384 plates to facilitate dispensing from a tip cassette.

A tip cassette holds 12 pipette tips per cassette for facilitating dispensing onto DropArray™plate. With the dispensing guide and tip cassette, dispensing onto DropArray™plates at 2 microL becomes easier than dispensing onto a 96-well microtiter plate.

Each S48 and S96 plate comes with a lid to protect the surface of the plate and minimize evaporation.

Proprietary rinsing oil is an integral and enabling part for the DropArray™ technology. The rinsing oil minimizes cross-talk between different wells during washing process, carry-over between washing cycles and evaporation during incubation on DropArray™ plates. For cell applications, sterilized version of rinsing oil is available.

Matrix 12 channel dispenser with adjustable tip spacing is recommended.
