Technical Superiority of DropArray™

The flat surface structure of a DropArray™ plate and improved fluidic design provides distinctive advantages over conventional microtiter plates. The entire DropArray™ plate enables the miniaturization of sample and increases reaction times. Reduced sample and reagent volumes allow for sample and reagent savings; as well as, reduced costs per assays. Furthermore the entire DropArray™ plate can be washed gently as a whole (instead of well-by-well washing), conveying better fluidics and improving the reproducibility of experimental data. This unique wash process significantly simplifies the present tedious and painstaking wash.

The automation of the wash step to a single whole plate wash minimizes human error and machine error brought about by "well-by- well" washing, improving the reproducibility and quality of the experimental results.

• Compatible with existing screening systems
The DropArray™ platform is completely compatible with the SBS-384 microtiter well formats, allowing the DropArray™ plates to be used with conventional microtiter plate imagers & dispensers. Furthermore, the whole DropArray™ system is easily integrated into existing liquid handling systems.

• Low cost and low maintenance
Due to the reduced sample and reagent volumes required, DropArray™ system is able to provide around 85 % cost-savings to users. Moreover, the whole system is easy to set up and requires minimal maintenance and training/expertise from staff.
