Curiox Biosystems, a leader in automated systems for flow cytometry sample preparation, announced today that it has expanded its leadership team by appointing David Choiniere as Vice President, Sales and Marketing for North America. Choiniere, formerly served as Vice President of Sales for IsoPlexis and, prior to that, Vice President of Sales for IntelliCyt Corporation (a Sartorius Company) for over ten years.
“We are thrilled to have David join our team. He brings an immense amount of experience in Sales leadership along with a strong background in life sciences and cell biology systems,” said Dr. Namyong Kim, President of Curiox Biosystems. “His knowledge of the North American scientific community will help us ensure that we achieve adoption of our new fully automated system for flow cytometry, Laminar Wash™ AUTO 1000, as well as our standard Laminar Wash System and new Laminar Wash MINI System.”
David brings over 25 years of experience in the life sciences market, with extensive experience in flow cytometry, drug discovery, high throughput screening, and immunotherapy. He will be instrumental in introducing this new platform to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical markets.
“I am excited join the growing Curiox team as we expand our sales and field applications presence in the U.S. and Canada”, Choiniere said. “We can now offer complete automation for a wide variety of surface and intracellular stains for flow cytometry while providing results that are trackable and reproducible. Laminar Wash technology is the only practical path to affordable, off-the-shelf automation for flow cytometry sample preparation, especially when compared to centrifugation.”
