Curiox is expanding their commercial team and is looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to support our business throughout the Central United States with this Woburn, MA or REMOTE Central Time Zone-based role

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Inside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell Curiox platforms in biotech, pharma, and many other lab settings. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue through proactive engagement with key decision-makers in the flow cytometry and single cell sequencing field. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships, find new business and grow existing business, and effectively communicate the value of our products will contribute to the success and growth of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 1. Sales Prospecting and Outreach:

    • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to identify and reach new customers in biotech, pharma, academic, and government labs.
    • Qualify leads and generate interest in the Curiox platform through effective communication and product knowledge.
    • Grow the existing business by promoting increased utilization of current platforms, thereby growing our instrument and consumables revenue stream.

    2. Product Knowledge and Presentations:

    • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in flow cytometry and sample prep workflows in order to maintain in-depth knowledge of the features, applications, and benefits of the Curiox products.
    • Conduct product / financial presentations to lab professionals, showcasing the unique selling points and advantages of the Curiox platform.
    • Tailor presentations to address specific customer needs and concerns.

    3. Relationship Building:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Lab Technicians, Lab Management, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Management.
    • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    4. Sales Administration:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and pipeline management in the company’s CRM.
    • Prepare quotes and contribute to sales forecasting.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, biological areas or related field.
  • Minimum of two years successful sales experience. Sales in the life science market preferred, but open to a related field for the right candidate.
  • Understanding of biotech/pharma workflows from R&D through manufacturing, with emphasis in flow cytometry, single cell applications, ELISA’s, lab automation, and sample preparation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn, work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and competitive sales environment.
