Curiox was founded in 2008 with the introduction of DropArray, an early platform that demonstrated how controlled laminar flow could wash cells gently while reducing sample loss and variability.
In 2017, Curiox introduced Laminar Wash technology, establishing a centrifuge-free alternative that delivered consistent wash performance across plate-based workflows. This technology has been validated across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical laboratories and remains the backbone of Curiox’s approach today — the C-FREE™ Pluto platform.
C-FREE™ technology brings Curiox’s proven laminar wash principles into modern automation environments. Instead of spinning samples, C-FREE technology executes washing through pipette robot–controlled fluid exchange, performed directly on liquid handlers or Pluto systems.
