In this study, researchers investigated how altering the intracellular trafficking of the Necator americanus glutathione-S-transferase-1 (Na-GST-1) antigen affects immunogenicity and vaccine candidate performance. By engineering secreted and membrane-anchored forms of Na-GST-1, the authors evaluated antibody responses and T-cell activation following mRNA immunization in murine models.
Curiox C-FREE Laminar Wash™ was used during flow cytometry–based immunostaining workflows, including splenocyte staining and FLAG-tag detection, as part of the sample preparation process. Laminar Wash enabled gentle, centrifuge-free washing steps designed to preserve cell integrity and maintain consistency across staining conditions.
