POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Manager will oversee the entire supply chain, including procurement, materials management, logistics, and production. A key part of the role involves directly managing the purchasing of materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. The SCM Manager will lead cross-functional teams, including logistics, assembly, and production staff, and ensure smooth coordination across departments to meet operational and business objectives.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage procurement, materials, logistics, and production operations across the entire supply chain
  • Directly handle materials purchasing to ensure timely and cost-efficient sourcing
  • Supervise logistics, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and distribution processes
  • Lead the assembly and production management teams, ensuring seamless workflows between departments
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to align supply with production schedules
  • Develop supply chain strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and monitor supplier performance
  • Track inventory levels to manage stock and prevent shortages or overstocks
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies
  • Utilize ERP systems to track key metrics, analyze data, and drive improvements across the supply chain
  • Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance overall supply chain performance


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, logistics or a related field
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, including direct experience in purchasing
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with international trade and logistics (preferred)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning (preferred)
  • English proficiency is required for communications with international teams and partners.
